Blue Ribbon is a national organisation, which provides personal care and support to people in their own homes. Applicants will normally need to hold a full driving licence, have their own transport and have the right to work in the UK.

All successful candidates, will complete our comprehensive induction training course. The induction training is just the start of your journey with Blue Ribbon – when you get out and about into the community helping people live independently is when our Care Workers tell us they get the most out of their training, support and guidance.

What does an hourly Care Worker do?

Companionship

Providing friendly company and emotional support

Personal Care

Assisting with bathing, dressing and, when necessary, continence support

Medication

Support with administering as and when the person needs it

Meal preparation

Help with preparing and cooking nutritious meals

Household chores

Keeping on top of the washing and dusting for a clean and tidy home

Running errands

Assisting with tasks such as shopping or picking up prescriptions

Mobility assistance

Offering the person an arm to lean on around the house

Nurse Supported Care

Undergoing additional training for more complex care needs

Pet Care

Feeding, walking and looking after the beloved pet
